Asus P5Q ram problems

I tried to install 8 GB of ram on my P5Q based computer and I get memtest errors but every memory stick works perfectly separately. Why does it happen? How can I correct it?

It may be related to memory compatibility.

Or it is because you use 8GB you have to tweak your Ram settings in bios for them to start working.
